Annual membership dues are due by July 1st, the beginning of the new fiscal year, and may be paid online or by check.
This category is for persons working in a field pertaining toASL and English interpretation or transliteration, in good standing with theChapter, and adhering to the Code of Professional Conduct (CPC) set forth by RID and the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). Regular members that hold both national (regular or associate) and affiliate chapter membership may vote and hold office.
This category is for persons taking six (6) or more credit hours in an Interpreting Training Program and/or deaf related field at an accredited institute of higher education, is in good standing with the Chapter and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct as set forth by RID.
Student members may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees and task forces.
This category is for persons interested in supporting the goals and purposes of this Chapter and RID.
Associate members may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees and task forces.
This category is for entities and organizations interested in supporting the mission and goals and purposes of this Chapter and RID.
Organizational members and/or their representatives may not vote or hold office.
MSRID encourages members to join the national Registry Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Membership in RID confers many advantages, including discounted rates on testing and literature.
